On the 12th December, the LuSE took part in the Public Private Dialogue Forum (PPDF) under the theme “Embracing Sustainability: Unlocking Economic Opportunities in the Face of Climate Change and Drought” The keynote address at the forum was delivered by H.E. President Hakainde Hichilema who emphasised the need for the private sector to work very closely with Government to drive the sustainable economic agenda. “Driving increased private sector participation remains the premise on which the LuSE was created. Therefore, we can not talk of private sector growth without the Exchange. At least we need to pronounce the very existence of raising Equity on the LuSE as an enabler to private sector growth.” Mr Kabaso stated during a sideline meeting during the forum. As the LuSE, we remain committed to driving private sector growth by providing a platform to raise long term capital for both large corporates and SMEs. Our doors remain open to companies who are interested in raising long term capital for their growth.
